Edgeline is a sloped, perforated aluminum guard made to work with the gutter at your roof edge.
The surface is intended to channel runoff into the gutter while reducing debris buildup. It is not a substitute for a sound gutter system, and it does not make gutters maintenance-free. Horvath looks at the condition and configuration of your home before discussing whether Edgeline is appropriate.

Sloped surface
Its angled design is intended to guide roof runoff toward the gutter while helping debris move past the edge.
Perforated openings
Water passes through the openings into the gutter; the surface is intended to reduce the amount of larger debris that settles inside.

Periodic inspection still matters, especially after heavy debris or changing weather.
Gutters and guards should be checked for accumulated material, alignment and water flow. Snow and ice bring their own roof-edge conditions; Edgeline is not an ice-prevention system. If something looks off, have it evaluated rather than assuming a guard has solved it.

Can Edgeline go on my existing gutters?
Possibly. We assess the condition of your gutters, roof edge and runoff before recommending an installation. Existing gutters need to be suitable; there is no blanket fit for every home.
Will I still need to check or clean my gutters?
Yes. Guards are intended to reduce debris buildup, not eliminate maintenance. Periodic inspection helps you catch material on the surface, gutter issues or changes in water flow.
What about snow and ice?
Roof-edge snow and ice depend on weather and the home's conditions. A gutter guard should not be treated as protection against ice buildup or winter-related roof issues.
What happens before installation?
Horvath looks at the roof edge, gutters and runoff, then cleans and inspects the existing gutters. If Edgeline is suitable, the crew sizes and secures the guards and checks alignment and water flow.
