What is Roof Shield?
Roof Shield is a surface treatment for asphalt-shingle roofs. It may be considered when shingles are aging but the roof remains structurally sound. An inspection is needed to determine whether it makes sense for your roof.
Will treatment fix a leak or damaged roof?
No. A surface treatment does not repair leaks, damaged flashing, missing shingles or structural problems. We would discuss the necessary repair or replacement work instead of treating it as a substitute.
How do I know if my roof is a candidate?
There is no age alone that answers that question. Shingle condition, existing damage and the roof’s overall soundness matter. Horvath can inspect the roof and explain whether treatment, a repair or replacement is more appropriate.
